Manila, Philippines —- Nanindigan si Miss Universe 2018, Catriona Gray na tama ang kanilang inanunsyong winners sa coronation night ng Binibining Pilipinas 2022.
Sa instagram post ng dating Miss Universe, sinabi niyang naiintindihan niya ang pagkabahala ng mga contestant sa announcement ng Bb. Pilipinas International winner na inabot ng mahigit apat na minuto.
Paglilinaw ni Catriona, kinumpirma na mismo ng Multidisciplinary Professional Services firm na SGV & Co. na tama ang mga na-anunsyong winner.
“As the hosts of last night’s Binibining Pilipinas 2022,
we announced the winners accordingly based on
the titles printed on the cards as these were
handed over by SGV & Co. partner and representative, Mr.Ocho,”
“As a member of the overseeing committee
during the deliberations, Mr. Ocho later rechecked the cards and confirmed that the results previously announced were correct, which became the decisive factor in moving forward with the announcement,”
“As former candidates ourselves, we understand
what the girls go through and would, therefore without a second thought-correct any errors, if any were made. But as already explained, SGV & Co. partner and representative Mr. Ocho himself confirmed the validity of the results,” saad ni Catriona.
Makikita rin sa nasabing post, ang larawan mula kay Miss International 2005, Lara Quigaman na nagsilbing hurado sa pageant. Ani Quigaman, naging mahirap ang kanilang naging deliberation para sa mga mananalong bagong mga Reyna.
Samantala, naging matagumpay naman ang pagtatapos ng BBP coronation night, lalo’t tatlong milyon na ang views ng coronation night sa kanilang Youtube channel.
