MANILA, Philippines – In Medina town in Misamis Oriental, the Christmas Festival 2022 opening rejoices the residents on Saturday night, December 3.
With the theme “Ang Pasko ay kay Saya, kapiling ang bawat Pamilya,” the Christmas vibes felt alive in the said town as the municipal grounds was decorated with sparkling lights and decorations.
The launching of the said festival flocked by residents to witness the lighting of five big Christmas trees.
According to the local government, the celebration’s theme wants to convey the celebration of Christmas in Filipinos’ traditional culture.
There were also performances in the said event that entertained the audience.
It has been two years since the last Christmas Festival was observed due to the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions.
