MAYNILA – Kinumpirma nitong Martes, Enero 31, ng Department of Budget and Management na naglaan ito ng P151 bilyong pondo para sa social protection programs ng Department of Social Welfare and Development.
Anang DBM sa isang pahayag, ang naturang budget ay nasa ilalim ng Republic Act 11936 o General Appropriations Act para sa taong 2023.
“The mandate of President Bongbong Marcos is clear— for the government to ensure that no Filipino will be left behind,” wika ni DBM Secretary Amenah Pangandaman.
“Alam din po namin na ang mga social assistance programs na kagaya nito ay nagsisilbing sandalan ng mga kababayan nating lubos na nangangailangan. And for these, the DBM will exert its utmost to make sure that these programs are funded,” dagdag pa niya.
Sa naturang pahayag sinabi ng DBM na kabilang sa mga major social protection services ng DWSD ay ang mga sumusunod:
- Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP)
- Supplementary Feeding Program (SFP)
- Protective Services for Individuals and Families in Difficult Circumstances (PSIFDC)
- Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps)
Hahatiin ang mahigit P151 bilyong budget para sa apat na nabanggit na programa.
