According to GMA News, director Jun Lana hopes that ‘Ten Little Mistresses’ will be the “biggest, wildest, campiest mistress movie to end all mistress movies.”
The film, according to the director, combines popular genres in the Philippine entertainment industry, such as comedy, drama, mystery, and mistresses.
“Paired with over-the-top costumes and larger-than-life personalities, the film provides audiences with a grand spectacle to look forward to,” said director Jun.
Eugene Domingo and Pokwang, both Kapuso comediennes, will play roles in the film. Both actresses enthusiastically shared the news on their Instagram accounts.
“Ten Little Mistresses” (Sampung Mga Kerida) also stars John Arcilla, Christian Bables, Arci Munoz, Carmi Martin, Agot Isidro, Kris Bernal, Sharlene San Pedro, Adrianna So, Kate Alejandrino, Iana Bernardez, and Donna Cariaga.
The plot is a murder mystery with comedic themes. The movie is a drama about a widowed billionaire named Valentin Esposo who has ten mistresses competing to be his new legal wife.
