The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board-7 has reminded the public utility vehicle operators and drivers to follow the fare matrix and avoid fare overcharging.

LTFRB-7 reminded that under the Joint Administrative Order 2014-01, overcharging has a corresponding penalties.

For rhe first offense, the penalty is P5,000; P10,000 penalty and impounding of the unit for 30 days for the second offense; and P15,000 and cancelling of Certificate of Public Convenience for the third and subsequent offense .
