Legazpi City —Former Vice President and Angat Buhay founder was chosen by the Center for Public Leadership at Harvard Kennedy School among the five  Hauser Leaders for the Fall 2022 semester.

Robredo is the sole Filipino fellow of the prestigious Hauser Leaders for the Fall 2022.

“A huge honor to be invited at Harvard Kennedy School’s Center for Public Leadership, as one of its Hauser Leaders for the Fall 2022 semester,” Robredo said on her FB post.

Robredo was elated as Hauser Leaders, she can share here advocacies thus will engage with students, faculty, alumni and the wider Harvard community during her stint at university.

“As Hauser Leaders, we will engage with students, faculty, alumni, and the wider Harvard community during our stint on campus. I’m both thrilled and humbled be given this space to share my advocacies and experiences, alongside this roster of distinguished leaders from various fields and sectors. What a blessing it is to be returning to Cambridge for this opportunity,” she said.

In a statement released by the Center for Public Leadership at Harvard Kennedy School the appointment of five Hauser Leaders for the Fall 2022 semester said that Hauser Leaders Program brings distinguished leadership practitioners from across the public, nonprofit, and private sectors to CPL to engage with students, faculty, and the wider Harvard community on its eighth year celebration.

“At a time when many challenges stem from leadership shortcomings, these Hauser Leaders bring to campus living examples of principled and effective public leadership,” Deval Patrick, co-director for the Center for Public Leadership and professor of the practice of public leadership said. 

“Though from different experiences, these leaders share values, values applied in practical ways, that they can now share with the Kennedy School community,” he said.

Throughout the semester, the Hauser leaders meet individually with students, give guest lectures, and lead public events on campus.

“The Hauser Leaders Program is core to CPL’s mission,” said Hannah Riley Bowles, co-director for the Center for Public Leadership and Roy E. Larsen Senior Lecturer in Public Policy and Management.

“Our students and faculty are grateful for the opportunity to learn from these distinguished leaders in elected office, grassroots organizations, the media, and public advocacy.”
