Parehong humakot ng mga parangal ang SB19 at Ben&Ben sa 2022 Awit Awards, na naganap noong Nobyembre 23 sa Newport Performing Arts Theater sa Pasay City, na nag-uwi ng pito at limang parangal.
Ayon sa isang ulat, ang SB19, isang pioneer na P-pop group, ay kakabalik lamang mula sa kanilang US tour sa parehong araw ng awards ceremony at patungo sa Singapore. Ang kanilang record label ang kumatawan sa kanila sa pagtanggap ng mga parangal dahil hindi sila nakadalo sa seremonya.
Nakatanggap ang SB19 ng mga sumusunod na parangal:
- Most Streamed Artist
- Most Streamed Song: Mapa
- Best Dance Recording: Bazinga
- Best Global Recording: What?
- Best Pop Recording: Bazinga
- Best Performance by a Group Recording Artist: Mapa
- Best Vocal Arrangement: Mapa
Samantala, kakauwi rin ng Ben&Ben mula sa matagumpay na tour sa United States at Canada at inaabangan ang kanilang Homecoming concert sa susunod na buwan.
