Non-Catholics who died due to COVID-19 will be allowed to be buried in Roman Catholics cemeteries in Cebu.
This follows after Cebu Archbishop Jose Palma has recently issued a Circular on the burial of non-Catholics in the Cebu Archdiocesan Catholic Cemeteries.
Palma said that he take it as an act of charity to allow their burial in the Roman Catholic cemeteries as the COVID-19 pandemic hits us hard.
The Cebu Archbishop said that only time will tell when this special permission will be abrogated due to the extreme difficulty in giving a decent and dignified burial place for the departed during this time of pandemic.
