Renowned singer IU has made a thoughtful decision to alter the title of her impending song from “Love Wins” to “Love Wins All,” in response to the backlash received online. This adjustment, announced by her agency, EDAM Entertainment, is aimed at honoring and supporting the diversity of love expressions, ensuring that the essence of the song remains untarnished by any potential misinterpretations of its title.
EDAM Entertainment, in a statement, expressed their dedication to conveying the song’s core message, emphasizing love’s triumph over hatred. “We deeply hope that the original message of the song is delivered without leaving any scars on anyone, as every love wins all in the world with no hatred,” the agency remarked. In line with this commitment, all promotional activities moving forward will reflect the revised title.
“Love Wins All,” slated for release on January 24, marks IU’s much-anticipated return to the music scene. The song will be accompanied by a music video featuring V of BTS, adding an exciting dimension to the release.
Aside from her musical ventures, IU is also preparing to engage with her fans in the Philippines, as she is scheduled for a concert in June as part of her H.E.R. tour. Her musical prowess has been previously showcased through her album “LILAC” and the EP “Pieces,” released in 2021. IU’s artistry extends to hits like “Palette (feat. G-DRAGON),” “eight (Prod. & feat. SUGA of BTS),” “BBIBBI,” “LILAC,” “Blueming,” and others. Additionally, her collaboration with Agust D—SUGA’s alter ego—in the single “People Pt.2” has been well received.
IU’s talents are not confined to music; she’s also a celebrated actress set to star in the upcoming drama, “Thank You for Your Hard Work” alongside Park Bo Gum. This move to modify her song title reflects IU’s sensitivity to her audience’s sentiments and her commitment to spreading positive messages through her art.
