MAYNILA – Base sa pahayag ni Presidential Communications Office OIC Sec. Cheloy Garafil, inalok ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. ang posisyong kalihim ng Department of National Defense kay Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation, and Unity Sec. Carlito Galvez Jr.
Ito ay matapos tanggapin ng pangulo ang pagbitiw sa pwesto ni DND OIC Usec. Jose Faustino Jr. nitong Lunes, Enero 9.
“It is with deep regret that the President has accepted the resignation of DND OIC Sr. Usec. Jose Faustino Jr. The President has offered the position of DND Secretary to Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation, and Unity Sec. Carlito Galvez Jr. and he has accepted,” saad ng PCO OIC sa isang pahayag.
Aniya, tinanggap na ni Galvez ang alok na pangulo sa posisyon.
Sa ibinahaging pahayag ng PCO, nakita ring nakipagpulong si pangulong Marcos kay Galvez nitong Lunes.
