Rochelle Pangilinan, a former member of the iconic Sexbomb Girls, recently shared her insights with new girl groups trying to make a mark in the entertainment industry.

In an interview with GMA News Online, Rochelle reflected on the challenges she faced during her early days in showbiz. “There was so much competition, and we had to invest a lot—like getting ourselves fixed up. It required a lot of resources,” she said.

Despite the difficulties, the group’s hard work paid off as they became a household name, known for their performances on “Eat Bulaga” and their hit afternoon drama series “Daisy Siete.”

Having experienced the highs and lows of being in a girl group, Rochelle offered a simple yet profound piece of advice to newcomers: “Chill lang, relax lang. If it’s meant to be yours, it will be. Sometimes, it can be depressing when you want something so badly but don’t achieve it,” she said. “So just give your one thousand percent in every performance, like it’s your last.”

Rochelle also emphasized the importance of going with the flow and not putting too much pressure on oneself. “If you stress yourself out, it will only lead to more stress,” she added.

Rochelle, who recently signed on as a Sparkle star, expressed her excitement for this new chapter in her career. She currently stars in “Pulang Araw” as Amalia Dimalanta-Torres, alongside Barbie Forteza and Alden Richards.
