Senator Joel Villanueva visited the beneficiaries of the Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers or TUPAD program in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu.
Villanueva has given P1 million for the implementation of the program in coordination with Lapu-Lapu City Lone District Representative Paz Radaza.
A total of 228 beneficiaries from barangays Babag, Baring and Basak attend the orientation seminar conducted by the Department of Labor and Employment-7 headed by Mr. Emmanuel Ferrer, Director II Tri-City.
“Pinaagi sa atong pagpaningkamot nga mahatagan kita og pundo para sa TUPAD program, ako mapasalamaton ni Senator Villanueva sa pagsanong sa atong hangyo,” Radaza said.
Villanueva in his visit also went to the Cebu Normal University in Cebu City for the inauguration of its new school of medicine.
