A bomb threat send Cebu City Hall employees and visitors this morning, August 27, to Plaza Sugbo as the police and Bomb Squad inspected the City Hall building after the Command Center received a bomb threat.
Cebu City Mayor Edgardo Labella in a statement said that all employees were immediately instructed to evacuate the building as inspection is on going as the roads sorrounding the two buildings were closed.
The mayor was glad that after inspection, the bomb threat turned out to be a hoax.
Labella has already instructed the PNP to conduct an investigation and identify the culprit and bring it to the bar of justice.
