Ang Davao City COVID-19 Task Force ay naghihintay pa rin ng guidelines mula sa Department of Health (DOH) sa pinaikling interval ng booster shots.
“I’ve heard about that, but again just like our prior rollouts, we will be waiting for the guidelines that will be coming from our regional Department of Health,” ayon kay Davao City COVID-19 Task Force spokesperson Dr. Michelle Schlosser sa isang statement nitong Martes.
Inanunsyo ni Health Secretary Francisco T. Duque III noong Disyembre 21 na paiikliin ang pagitan para sa pagbibigay ng booster doses simula Disyembre 22.
Sa ilalim ng shortened interval, sinabi ng DOH, “boosters may already be given to adults at least three months after the second dose of a primary two-dose vaccine, or least two months after the primary single-dose vaccine is given.”
