MANILA – In celebration of the martyrdom of Dr. Jose Rizal, the Department of Transportation (DOTr) has announced free rides on LRT-2 and MRT-3 for a total of four hours on Rizal Day, Tuesday, December 30, 2025. This special treat allows commuters to enjoy complimentary travel during peak hours, making it easier to attend wreath-laying ceremonies at Rizal Park, visit family, or run errands on the regular holiday.
