MANILA — Motorists using the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) should brace for heavy traffic on January 17–18, 2026 (Saturday–Sunday), as thousands are expected to travel to Clark, Pampanga for the Pampanga Music Festival 2026 at the Clark Global City and New Clark City Sports Hub.
NLEX Corporation issued the advisory on January 14, 2026, warning of potential congestion especially from Saturday afternoon through Sunday evening on the following stretches:
- NLEX Southbound (from Balintawak to Dau exit) – heavy inbound traffic toward Clark
- NLEX Northbound (from Dau to Balintawak) – return traffic expected to peak Sunday night
- Major Exits: Dau, Angeles, and Clark exits will see the heaviest volume
