MANILA – The Choco Mucho Flying Titans have officially parted ways with four players—Royse Tubino, Caitlyn Viray, Bangs Garcia, and Arianne Layug—as the team reshapes its roster for the upcoming 2026 PVL season. The announcement, made on December 30, 2025, via the club’s social media channels, thanked the players for their contributions and wished them success in their future endeavors.

Royse Tubino, a veteran outside hitter and one of the franchise’s longest-tenured players since its inception in 2019, was a key piece in Choco Mucho’s rise to contender status, including back-to-back runner-up finishes. The departures of Viray (opposite hitter), Garcia (libero), and Layug (middle blocker) further signal a significant roster overhaul.

Choco Mucho management stated: “We are grateful for their dedication and the memories they’ve helped create. As we prepare for the next chapter, we look forward to building on our strong foundation.”

The moves come after a 2025 season where the Flying Titans reached the finals but fell short of the championship. Speculation points to strategic rebuilding around core stars like Sisi Rondina, Maddie Madayag, and Kat Tolentino, with potential high-profile signings in the upcoming free agency and rookie draft.

Tubino and the others enter the free agent market, drawing interest from multiple teams seeking veteran presence and depth.
