Yesterday, Escudero ordered the deployment of sea ambulance to coastal areas to boost Sorsogon’s vaccination drive. Escudero hopes that with sea ambulance serving as an augmentation transport system, the province will be able to attain its target to vaccinate at least 53,586 Sorsoganons during the three-day inoculation campaign of DOH from its 14 municipalities and one city here.
“Gusto talaga nating makatulong sa national government upang mabilis and pagbakuna sa buong bansa ata ng sa gayun ay makamit na natin and herd immunity. (We want to help the national government to expedite the inoculation across the country so that we can attain the herd immunity).

“Ating gagamitin ang bagong sea ambulance simula ngayong araw upang mabakunahan ang ating mga kababayan na nasa mga coastal barangays,” Escudero said.
(We will use the new sea ambulance starting today (November 29) to inoculate our fellow citizens living in the coastal barangays.)
“Malaking bagay sa kanila na sa halip na pumunta pa sa mga vaccination centers sa bayan, ang vaccination team ang pupunta sa kanila upang mabigyan sila ng mga bakuna laban sa COVID-19,” he added. (It is a big help for them that instead of going to the vaccination centers in town, the vaccination team will go to them to give them vaccines against COVID-19.)
The sea ambulance was procured by the provincial government to provide medical and emergency response to citizens living in the coastal barangays of Sorsogon.
