Authorities found a dead body of a 55-year-old woman sprawled in a farm in Isabela, Negros Occidental.
According to a news from GMA Regional TV News this Wednesday, the suspect in the killing of the victim, Digna Camacho of Barangay Camangmang in the said municipality, is her husband whose name is Fredo Camacho.
Digna’s death was because she was stabbed by Fredo, according to the authorities. The suspected weapon used in the crime is also found in the said location.
The husband has escaped after the incident and is currently being tracked down by the authorities.
It is believed that the Fredo is under the influence of alcohol when he went to the farm where his wife was working and got killed.
Police Corporal Alfred John Lizaran, investigator in Isabela Municipal Station, says that the probable cause of the killing is jealousy.
