Six people, including a police officer, were injured in a multi-vehicle accident early Wednesday morning along the eastbound lane of the EDSA-Quezon Avenue tunnel in Quezon City.
According to the Quezon City Police District (QCPD), all the victims were taken to the hospital, though fortunately, none of them suffered serious injuries.
One of the bus drivers involved is currently in police custody as investigations continue. Authorities said appropriate charges will be filed once the probe concludes and evidence is fully reviewed.
The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) reported that the collision involved four vehicles—a bus, a motorcycle, and two UV Express vans. The injured included the motorcycle rider, the driver and two passengers of one UV Express, and the driver and a passenger of the second.
