Anime enthusiasts and science buffs are in for a treat as the University of the Philippines Diliman’s Institute of Biology prepares to host a unique lecture. The event, titled “Beyond the Walls: Examining the Biology of the Titans in Shingeki No Kyojin,” is scheduled for December 5 and will delve into the biological aspects of the Titans from the widely acclaimed anime series “Attack on Titan” (AOT). This lecture is a product of BIO 196, a special course at the university, and will take place via Zoom, open to all interested attendees.
“Attack on Titan,” set in a post-apocalyptic world, narrates the story of humanity fighting for survival against colossal humanoid Titans. The anime, known for its intense action and deep storytelling, follows Eren Yeager and his friends Mikasa Ackerman and Armin Arlert in their desperate battle against these gigantic adversaries. The final season of this hit series premiered on November 5, 2023.
