As “Hello, Love, Again” makes its theatrical debut, lead star Alden Richards shared his hopes that the film will leave a lasting impact on viewers. Speaking at the premiere night on Tuesday, Richards expressed his desire for audiences to connect with the story of Ethan and Joy, played by himself and Kathryn Bernardo.

“I hope after the film, we’re all inspired to live fully and to do good things for those around us,” Richards said in a video shared by GMA Public Affairs.

Held at SM Megamall, the premiere brought together the film’s cast, including Lovely Abella, Maymay Entrata, Joross Gamboa, Valerie Concepcion, Kakai Bautista, and Jameson Blake, along with director Cathy Garcia-Sampana. Both Richards and Bernardo were visibly moved after watching the film, sharing an emotional hug following the screening.

“Hello, Love, Again,” the much-anticipated follow-up to the 2019 hit “Hello, Love, Goodbye,” continues the journey of Ethan and Joy five years after Joy’s move from Hong Kong to Canada.

The film is now showing in over 500 cinemas across the Philippines, with midnight screenings available. It will also reach international audiences, screening in over 900 cinemas worldwide, including venues in North America, the Middle East, and the Asia-Pacific region. Additionally, it has been selected to close the Asian World Film Festival in Los Angeles this November
