Alessandra De Rossi has been recognized by her hometown of Martano, Italy, for her outstanding professional achievements in the international cinematic world.

The award-winning actress shared her proud moment on Instagram, posting a photo of herself receiving the plaque of recognition from town officials. She was joined by her family, including her sister Assunta and niece Fiore.

“Thank you @comunemartano for the recognition. See you till next time. Thanks for everything,” Alessandra wrote in Italian, translated into English.

With a career spanning over two decades, Alessandra has garnered numerous accolades, including the Actress of the Decade at the 44th Gawad Urian Awards, which she shared with Nora Aunor and Angeli Bayani. She also won Best Actress at the first ASEAN International Film Festival and Awards in 2013.

Recently, Alessandra starred in “Firefly,” which won the Best Picture Award at the Metro Manila Film Festival in December. Her role as Elay, the mother of Tonton (played by Euwenn Mikaell), earned her the Best Supporting Actress award at the Manila International Film Festival in California this February.
