Actress Alex Gonzaga penned a heartfelt message to her husband, Mikee Morada, after experiencing her third miscarriage.
In her latest YouTube vlog, Alex shared moments from her 37th birthday celebration, which included a family dinner and visits to hospitals and clinics in Lipa, Batangas, where she distributed goods to new mothers.
Toward the end of the video, Alex revealed that she and Mikee had been at the hospital on January 9, just a week before her birthday. The actress was seen lying on a hospital bed, surrounded by her loved ones.
The vlog concluded with a touching letter from Alex, displayed on screen:
“Dearest Mikee, I’m so sorry again for our loss. The little miracle we had will always stay with us. Let’s keep believing. By God’s grace, we will have the family we have always prayed for.”
Heartbreaking Journey
Earlier, Alex shared an Instagram Reel featuring a moment when Mikee danced for her at the hospital to lift her spirits. “My favorite moment is when my husband made sure I was happy before my medical procedure,” she wrote.
Mikee later revealed on Tuesday that Alex suffered her third miscarriage.
The couple regularly visited their OB/GYN after learning of the pregnancy. However, complications were discovered during their third checkup. Seeking a second opinion, they were informed that their baby’s heartbeat was below the normal range. Tragically, by late December, the baby’s heartbeat had stopped.
This marks Alex’s third miscarriage, following previous losses in 2021 and 2023.
Alex and Mikee were married in November 2021 and continue to hold on to hope for their dream of starting a family.
