Andi Eigenmann, widely known for her acting and content creation, recently embarked on a new adventure, participating in her first official surfing competition. The event, known as the 10th Single and Unattached competition, was held in La Union, where she competed alongside her fiancé, Philmar Alipayo, who emerged victorious in their division.

Reflecting on her journey, Andi shared on Instagram her transformation from a spectator in 2018, when her fascination with surfing began, to a competitor in the sport that now holds a significant place in her heart. This experience was not just about competition but also about celebrating love and passion for surfing, which she credits for bringing her and Philmar closer together, especially meaningful as they celebrated Valentine’s Day in this unique way.

Andi expressed her admiration for Philmar’s dedication and excellence in everything he pursues. His unwavering support and guidance have been pivotal in her surfing journey, showcasing the power of partnership and mutual inspiration.

Living in Siargao, known as The Happy Islanders, Andi and her family, including Philmar, Lilo, Koa, and Ellie (Andi’s daughter with Jake Ejercito), have fully embraced the island lifestyle. They are not only passionate about surfing but also entrepreneurs, running the Happy Islanders Café and Surf Shop, Barbosa Siargao bar, and the Kanaway Snack Bar.

Andi’s participation in the surfing competition marks a significant milestone in her personal and professional life, symbolizing her growth, dedication, and the joy of pursuing one’s passions. It’s a testament to how sports like surfing can enrich relationships, foster personal development, and bring unparalleled happiness and fulfillment.
