MANILA, Philippines — The Farm Fresh Foxies have sent shockwaves through the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) after officially announcing the signing of three former Chery Tiggo stars—Ara Galang, Mylene Paat, and Imee Hernandez—ahead of the 2026 All-Filipino Conference.

The acquisition of the veteran trio, who became available following the disbandment of the Chery Tiggo Crossovers, positions the Foxies as a legitimate title contender for the upcoming season.

The Recruiting Coup In a move to fortify every position on the floor, Farm Fresh also secured several other key veterans:

  • The Chery Tiggo Trio: Ara Galang, coming off an impressive 2025 Best Opposite Spiker campaign; former league MVP Mylene Paat; and middle blocker Imee Hernandez.
  • Frontline Depth: Former Petro Gazz captain Remy Palma, who will also serve as an assistant playing coach, and middle blocker Ria Meneses.
  • Offensive Firepower: Ex-Choco Mucho spiker Royse Tubino joins the wing rotation.
  • Floor Defense: Libero Bia General joins to strengthen the floor defense alongside Jheck Dionela.

A Loaded Roster The new signings will integrate with an already talented core, creating one of the deepest rotations in the league:

  • Wing Spikers: Galang, Paat, and Tubino will join Trisha Tubu, Ces Molina, and Jolina Dela Cruz.
  • Middle Blockers: Hernandez and Palma will team up with Rizza Cruz, Lorene Toring, and Ria Meneses.
  • Floor Defense: General will protect the floor along with Jheck Dionela and converted libero Alyssa Bertolano.

League Context The massive roster movement follows a reshuffling of teams under the Strong Group Athletics (SGA) umbrella. While Galang and company headed to Farm Fresh, other SGA recruits—including veteran setter Chie Saet and Cess Robles—are expected to join ZUS Coffee.

Looking Ahead Farm Fresh was the top seed in the 2025 Reinforced Conference but suffered a disappointing quarterfinal exit. With this veteran-laden roster, the Foxies aim for a deeper run in the All-Filipino Conference.

The team is set to make its highly anticipated debut on February 3, 2026, at the Filoil EcoOil Centre against Nxled. The matchup is already drawing significant hype, as Nxled recently signed the core of Petro Gazz, led by MVP Brooke Van Sickle.
