Ashley Ortega has confirmed that there’s no bad blood between her and fellow Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition housemate AC Bonifacio, despite their emotional on-screen moment that went viral.
Appearing on Unang Hirit, the Kapuso actress reflected on her trending stint in the PBB house, including the moment AC questioned her authenticity during a nomination discussion. AC had expressed her reservations, saying, “I feel like Ashley is still being fake in this house.”
The two later shared a tearful reconciliation, and Ashley said she truly appreciated AC approaching her afterward.
“Honestly, it wasn’t that deep for me,” Ashley said. “I don’t see it as a big deal now. I actually look at AC like a little sister.”
She acknowledged that everyone makes quick judgments, including herself, and noted that she didn’t open up easily in the early days of the show. She expressed gratitude that AC gave her a chance to show who she really was.
Ashley and AC were the first to be evicted from the show after receiving the lowest combined percentage of public votes at 17.25%. Their reactions to the eviction have since become popular meme material online.
Despite the early exit, Ashley cherished her time inside the house. One of the most heartfelt moments was her emotional reunion with her estranged mother. Meanwhile, her boyfriend and fellow Kapuso star Mavy Legaspi shared a sweet message of pride and support after her eviction.
