Manila, Philippines – Actress Ashley Ortega made it clear that she has no fear of Carmina Villarroel, the mother of her boyfriend Mavy Legaspi.
In an appearance on Mikee Quintos’ “Lutong Bahay”, Ashley confidently answered the question, saying:
“Hindi, hindi ako takot sa kaniya. I love Tita Carmina, tsaka sasagutin ko ‘yan talaga wholeheartedly.”
(“No, I’m not scared of her. I love Tita Carmina, and I’ll answer that wholeheartedly.”)
Ashley and Carmina first met while filming “Widow’s Web” in 2022. Since then, she has been welcomed into the Legaspi family, even joining them for Christmas dinner.
Regarding how Mavy’s parents found out about their relationship, Ashley shared that Mavy himself informed them, emphasizing his openness with his family.
Ashley confirmed her romance with Mavy during her guest appearance on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” in February.
