Actor Baron Geisler was briefly detained in Mandaue City, Cebu on February 22 after allegedly causing a public disturbance due to intoxication.
According to police, Geisler was taken into custody for violating City Ordinance No. 11-2008-434, which penalizes severe intoxication in public. He was released later that day after paying the necessary fine.
Geisler Responds to Reports
Following the incident, Geisler took to Facebook to address what he called “misinformation” and “confusion” surrounding the situation. He criticized media outlets for not verifying facts before reporting and assured fans that he is “okay” and seeking legal advice.
His talent agency, ALV Talent Circuit, has yet to release an official statement.
