Bea Alonzo recently hosted an intimate thanksgiving party for the cast and crew of the series Widows’ War. The Kapuso actress shared glimpses of the celebration on Instagram, showcasing a beautifully decorated garden featuring table setups, a sushi bar, catering services, a cocktail bar, and even a karaoke setup.
The event was attended by several of her co-stars, including Carla Abellana, Jean Garcia, Tonton Gutierrez, Jackie Lou Blanco, and Royce Cabrera, as well as members of the production team. Bea and Carla were seen enjoying the karaoke, while the rest of the cast joined in for drinks and dancing.
“I hosted an intimate Thanksgiving party at home for Team Widows’ War,” Bea shared on Instagram. She mentioned how the team had grown close during their months of taping in Bataan, saying, “We’ve become like family. It was nice to let our hair down for a night and enjoy.”
Widows’ War is a spinoff of the popular GMA-7 series Royal Blood and Widow’s Web. Bea and Carla play former best friends, Samantha and Georgina, who become sworn enemies after the deaths of their husbands. The show is directed by award-winning filmmaker Zig Dulay and airs weekdays at 8:50 p.m. on GMA Prime
