Billy Crawford is addressing online speculations that his recent weight loss is due to drug addiction. In a Wednesday interview with Nelson Canlas on “24 Oras,” Billy candidly spoke about the ongoing concerns regarding his health.

“It’s like a circle in my life. It’s a non-stop conversation about my ‘nutrition’ or my diet. I’m not on a diet,” he explained.

Though the rumors initially bothered him, Billy now finds them amusing. “It used to faze me, used to get to me, but not anymore. It’s just funny now,” he said.

Billy firmly denied any drug use, emphasizing his clean lifestyle. “To those who know me, I am one of the few artists who don’t try drugs. We can all take a hair strand and do tests right now. I have nothing to hide,” he stated.

“I’m not an addict. I’m addicted to my family and my work, and that’s it. I’m living my life to the fullest right now,” he added. Billy proudly shared that he has been sober for five years, abstaining from alcohol and cigarettes.

“With God’s help and grace, I did it. Everyone is capable of change,” he said.

Last month, Billy’s wife, Coleen Garcia, also addressed the weight loss rumors, denying any health issues. “We’ve addressed it so many times, it’s frustrating for him because how do you change the way you look?” she said. “His current appearance is not unhealthy.”

Coleen revealed that Billy travels to France monthly for work, where he performs at music festivals almost daily, contributing to his weight loss.

Billy will soon join the coaches for the upcoming “The Voice Kids Philippines.” He previously coached “The Voice Generations” alongside Chito Miranda, Julie Anne San Jose, and Stell of SB19.

Billy and Coleen married in 2018 and welcomed their son, Amari, in 2020.
