The business ministry in London said on Monday that the country is securing 90 Million doses of Covid-19 vaccines from Pfizer Inc and BioNTech including French group Valneva.
The Country secured 30 Million doses of these experimental vaccines from lab companies and a principal deal of 60 Million doses if it was proven to be safe and effective although financial terms were not disclosed to the public.
Britain now has three different types of vaccine under order.
The partnership with the leading pharmaceutical companies will ensure the UK protection from the virus.
The said firms are aiming for 100 million doses by the end of 2020. These vaccines are still in pre-clinical trials.
