BTS members Jimin and Jungkook marked their return from mandatory military service with a heartfelt livestream and a warm welcome from fellow member J-Hope and their support team.
The two idols went live on Weverse on Wednesday, surprising fans with a sweet setup featuring festive balloons. They expressed how much they missed the BTS ARMY and thanked everyone for patiently waiting during their service.
Adding to the celebration, J-Hope shared clips on Instagram showing Jimin and Jungkook being greeted by staff holding flashlights and handing them flower bouquets—an emotional and joyful reunion.
Their discharge follows just a day after fellow BTS members RM and V completed their own service. Suga is also expected to finish his term later this month.
The timing couldn’t be more perfect as BTS is currently celebrating Festa, their annual debut anniversary event, which runs until June 13.
Since enlisting in 2022—starting with eldest member Jin—each BTS member has taken time to focus on individual projects. Jimin released his album Muse in 2024, while Jungkook dropped his solo debut Golden in 2023.
