BTS member V recently shared a heartwarming story about his fellow member Jungkook’s spontaneous trip to Hawaii to join him on vacation.
The Surprise Visit
On Instagram, V posted photos from their trip to Hawaii, revealing that while he was vacationing there, he told Jungkook, “Jungkook, I’m in Hawaii right now. I want to see you.” Jungkook, known as the group’s golden maknae, quickly flew the 4,687 miles from South Korea to join his beloved hyung.
This touching gesture quickly went viral, with the hashtags TAEKOOK (Taehyung and Jungkook) and Kim Taehyung trending on X (formerly Twitter).

Military Service and Recent Activities
Both V and Jungkook are currently serving in the South Korean military, having enlisted in December. V enlisted on December 11, followed by Jungkook on December 12.
In addition to their military service, the members have been active in music and other projects. V released his single “FRI(END)S” in March, starred in IU’s music video for “Love Wins All,” and was featured in UMI’s song “Wherever U R.” Meanwhile, Jungkook released “Never Let Go” in June, a special gift for BTS’s 11th anniversary.
