MANILA — Kapuso actor Buboy Villar has revealed he’s now a father of three, sharing for the first time that he has a baby boy with his non-showbiz girlfriend, Khrizza Mae “Isay” Sampiano.

The revelation came during his birthday episode on the podcast Your Honor, which he co-hosts with Tuesday Vargas. Guest and close friend Jelai Andres turned the tables on him, putting Buboy in the spotlight.

Buboy shared that he and Isay met online, and he quickly knew she was someone special. “My number one rule is that anyone I date must love my children even more than they love me,” he said. “My kids are my life, so if you hold them dear, you hold my heart.”

He described Isay as soft-spoken and a great listener, calling her a “blessing in disguise” after being single for seven years. “For the first time, I felt someone really listened to me,” he added.

Their bond led to the arrival of their son, Kyruz—or Kyrie—who is now three months old. Buboy said he initially kept the relationship private to shield Isay from public scrutiny.

“I didn’t want her to feel pressured or judged. We’re happy, and that’s all that matters,” he explained.

On the show, Isay surprised Buboy with a birthday cake and a heartfelt message: “Thank you, Lord, for giving him to me. I’ll always be here to support you through the highs and lows,” she said, jokingly asking him to drink less.

Buboy also expressed pride in their relationship, their baby, and Isay’s love for his two older kids—Vlanz Karollyn and George Michael—from his previous relationship with Angillyn Gorrens. The former couple, who separated in 2020, continue to co-parent and remain friends.
