Sta. Maria, Davao Occidental – A junk shop owner was shot and killed by motorcycle-riding suspects in Barangay Poblacion on the evening of May 5, Monday.
According to GMA Super Radyo Davao, the 42-year-old businessman was loading scrap metal onto his truck when gunmen suddenly opened fire, striking him multiple times.
The attackers immediately fled the scene after the shooting. Responding police recovered six spent shells from a .45 caliber pistol.
Investigators are looking into a possible personal grudge as the motive behind the fatal attack.
