The regional head of the Department of Health in Region 7 announced that Cebu needs more nurses especially the new graduates to fill-in the lack of it.
DOH-7 regional director Jaime Bernadas said that Cebu needs nurses as they are in the best position to respond and nobody else will.
Bernadas said that some of the new graduates were hesitant to apply in DOH hospitals or in private hospitals as some were afraid to be assigned to COVID-19 areas.
