Miss Universe Philippines 2024 Chelsea Manalo has touched down in Los Angeles, California, as she prepares for the upcoming Miss Universe 2024 pageant. The beauty queen, who arrived on Tuesday, was greeted warmly and looked stylish in jeans, a white top, and a beige trench coat, holding a bouquet of flowers.
According to the Miss Universe Philippines organization, Chelsea will stay in Los Angeles for a few days before heading to Mexico for the pageant. Before her departure from the Philippines, Chelsea was met with press interviews and a large crowd of supporters, wishing her well on her journey.
Chelsea, the first Filipino-Black American to win Miss Universe Philippines, will compete for the Philippines’ fifth Miss Universe crown on November 16 (November 17, Philippine time). The Preliminary and National Costume competitions will take place on November 14.
The 25-year-old beauty queen, who won her national title in May, has expressed excitement and gratitude for the support she has received, asking for prayers as she prepares to represent the Philippines on the global stage.
