On Friday, Cup of Joe unveiled the music video for their latest single, “Misteryoso.” The video features Jhoanna of BINI and is directed by SB19’s Justin, with production by SB19’s company, 1Z Entertainment.
The music video portrays Cup of Joe working at a design company. When BINI’s leader, Jhoanna, enters the office, the band’s vocalist, Gian Bernardino, is immediately captivated. Gian imagines various fantasy scenarios with Jhoanna, but he always returns to reality. He leaves sweet love notes for Jhoanna and offers her a cup of coffee. The other band members support their budding romance, leading to a celebration when they finally get together.
The video concludes with bloopers and behind-the-scenes footage, where Justin’s guidance is evident.
By Saturday morning, hashtags like #MisteryosoCOJJJ, #CupOfJhoAtMisteryosoMV, #BINI_Jhoanna, and Jhoanna Ngiting Misteryoso were trending on X. “Misteryoso” also climbed to the No. 3 spot on YouTube’s trending music list, amassing 500,000 views and counting.
In an Instagram post, Jhoanna described the experience as “a full circle moment,” praising the entire team. “I was smiling while watching the music video because we were just having fun shooting it,” she said. She thanked SB19’s Justin for directing and 1Z Entertainment for producing, expressing her admiration for their talent.
Cup of Joe is known for hits like “Tingin,” “Estranghero,” and “Ikaw Pa Rin Ang Pipiliin Ko.” They recently performed at Lola Amour’s concert supporting their debut album.
Meanwhile, BINI’s latest single, “Cherry on Top,” released this month, garnered 2 million views within 24 hours. The Nation’s Girl Group is currently in Los Angeles for KCON and will hold the two-night Grand BINIverse concert at the Araneta Coliseum on November 16 and 17.
Justin also released his latest single, “Kaibigan,” in July and continues to serve as the creative director for SB19, directing multiple music videos.
