David Licauco’s Mom, Eden, Admits She’s ‘Kilig’ Over BarDa, Supports His Dream of Working with Kathryn Bernardo
Eden Licauco, mother of actor David Licauco, made her television debut on Unang Hirit Thursday, expressing full support for her son’s dreams and career.
Beaming with pride, Mommy Eden shared how thrilled she is with David’s achievements—not just in acting, but also in business and basketball. “I’m super happy and proud of him,” she said.
She also confessed she’s among the many fans who feel “kilig” over David’s on-screen chemistry with Barbie Forteza, famously known as the love team BarDa. “I’m a big fan of both Barbie and David,” she added, even sharing her hope to meet Barbie in person someday.
During the interview, hosts Susan Enriquez and Suzi Entrata-Abrera brought up David’s interaction with Kathryn Bernardo at the recent Bench Body of Work fashion show, which sparked fan excitement online. Eden revealed that working with Kathryn has long been one of David’s dreams. “He’s mentioned it before—partnering with Kathryn is a dream of his. So I was happy for him when they shared the stage,” she said.
When asked what message she has for her son, Eden echoed his own mantra: “Keep chasing your dreams. We’re always here for you.”
