The Los Angeles Dodgers will mark their 2024 World Series win with a celebratory parade and event at Dodger Stadium on Friday. The parade begins at 11 a.m. at Gloria Molina Grand Park in front of Los Angeles City Hall, where players, manager Dave Roberts, and team personnel will ride double-decker buses along a 45-minute route through downtown Los Angeles.

After the parade, fans with tickets can join the stadium event, where the parade will be displayed on stadium scoreboards, followed by an on-field celebration. This championship celebration is especially meaningful for Dodgers fans, who last witnessed a victory parade in 1988. The team’s 2020 win was celebrated virtually due to the pandemic.

The event also pays tribute to Dodgers icon Fernando Valenzuela, who passed away on October 22. Friday would have been Valenzuela’s 64th birthday, and manager Dave Roberts acknowledged the emotional significance: “Fernando was a friend of mine. I know he’s smiling right now and very proud of this organization. He’s going to be missed.”
