Two weeks after the highly discussed breakup with Bea Alonzo, Dominic Roque has returned to his passion for motorcycle riding by participating in the Boss Ironman Motorcycle Challenge, alongside Jak Roberto. During a “24 Oras Weekend” segment, Roque politely declined to comment on questions regarding his separation from Alonzo, simply stating “I’m good” when asked about his current state.
The couple had previously confirmed the end of their engagement on February 11, following speculation and reports by Boy Abunda on his show “Fast Talk With Boy Abunda,” which cited sources claiming the couple had parted ways and that their planned wedding would not proceed.
Roque and Alonzo began their relationship in 2021 and announced their engagement in July of the previous year, with plans to marry in 2024. However, the reasons behind their decision to call off the engagement have not been disclosed.
In the meantime, Roque has shifted his focus to the Ironman motorcycle challenge, a demanding event that tests the skills and endurance of its participants. Jak Roberto, who joined Roque in the challenge, shared insights into the complexities and dangers of the race, emphasizing the importance of mastering fundamental biking skills and adapting to various road conditions.
As Roque navigates through this challenging period, his return to motorcycle racing signifies an effort to move forward and find solace in his hobbies and interests.
