The Hague, Netherlands – Hundreds of Filipinos held protests across Europe on Saturday to show support for former President Rodrigo Duterte, who is facing crimes against humanity charges at the International Criminal Court (ICC).

The Hague, Netherlands: 250+ protesters gathered at the International Gay Monument, near the ICC.
Prague, Czech Republic: 200+ demonstrators held a prayer rally at Wenceslas Square.
Similar rallies also took place in Manila and other Philippine cities.

Senator Robin Padilla urged unity among Filipinos abroad.
Former presidential spokesperson Harry Roque warned of a “long fight” ahead.

March 11: Duterte was arrested upon arrival at NAIA Terminal 3 from Hong Kong.
March 12: He was flown to The Hague on a government-funded charter flight.
March 15: ICC read his charges via video link & set the confirmation hearing for September 23.
