Ellen Adarna responded sharply to a netizen who commented that John Lloyd Cruz “should be present” at their son Elias’s moving up ceremony.
The comment appeared on Ellen’s Instagram post, which featured a photo of her, Elias, and her husband Derek Ramsay at the event. Ellen replied, “AND YOU SHOULD MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS.”
She clarified that John Lloyd’s absence in the photo did not mean he was not present at the ceremony. “Wag masyadong close minded manang. Present father naman cya meaning present din cya sa lahat ng milestones ng anak nya,” Ellen said, emphasizing John Lloyd’s active involvement in their son’s life.
Elias is the only son of John Lloyd and Ellen. The two co-parent, with Ellen acknowledging that John Lloyd consistently provides financial support for their son. John Lloyd has previously expressed that Elias saved his life.
Ellen is now married to Derek Ramsay, who also plays a fatherly role in Elias’s life. John Lloyd, on the other hand, confirmed his relationship with visual artist Isabel Santos in 2023.
