The sleuthing continues! Netflix has officially kicked off production for Enola Holmes 3, with Millie Bobby Brown returning as the sharp and spirited younger sister of Sherlock Holmes.
According to a feature from Netflix Tudum, the third installment in the hit mystery-adventure franchise will take Enola to Malta, where she faces a brand-new case while navigating the evolving dynamics of her relationship with Lord Tewkesbury.
Louis Partridge reprises his role as Tewkesbury, and a charming behind-the-scenes teaser shows the two stars in character, playfully bickering over his “tardy” arrival for filming. “Out of all the days, you choose today to be late?” Enola quips, referencing past misadventures.
Henry Cavill and Helena Bonham-Carter will also return as Sherlock Holmes and Eudoria Holmes, rounding out the Holmes family once again.
The Enola Holmes film series, based on the books by Nancy Springer, has captivated audiences with its blend of wit, mystery, and empowerment. The first film in 2020 centered on Enola searching for her missing mother while outsmarting those who sought to control her. The 2022 sequel followed her investigation into a deadly epidemic at a match factory.
A release date for the third film has not yet been announced, but the game is certainly afoot!
