Erwan Heussaff just turned a viral “Pinoy Big Brother” meme into real life—and fans are loving it!
On Thursday, the celebrity chef shared a fun Instagram video where he cooked sopas using a rice cooker, a hilarious nod to a trending meme that blended him, a rice cooker, and the classic Filipino soup into the PBB chaos.
“Sopas with chips, made in a rice cooker. Who knew,” Erwan captioned the clip.
His name recently popped up in a funny moment inside the PBB house, when housemates Bianca De Vera and Michael Sager joked about celebrity look-alikes—Bianca was dubbed Anne Curtis (Erwan’s wife), and Michael was playfully compared to Erwan himself. The playful banter, however, didn’t sit well with Dustin Yu, who had a crush on Bianca.
The rice cooker also got its share of drama, with Ralph De Leon and Emilio Daez clashing over who’d cook rice. Meanwhile, a sopas-related joke caused tension between Vince Maristela and Josh Ford before the two eventually patched things up.
Naturally, the internet did what it does best—turning Erwan, the rice cooker, and sopas into a meme sensation. And of course, Erwan caught wind of it. Sumakses!
