SHANGHAI, China — Continuing her dominance on the international fashion circuit, Heart Evangelista has made her highly anticipated debut at Shanghai Fashion Week, further expanding her influence beyond the traditional style capitals of Europe.

The Global Fashion Icon was among the select group of international stars invited to the event, which showcased Fall/Winter 2026 collections from March 25 to April 1.

Evangelista shared her journey with her millions of followers, documenting everything from her arrival at the airport to her rapid-fire ensemble changes. She attended a diverse array of shows featuring prominent Chinese designers, including:

  • Yirantian: Where she made her first major appearance.
  • Mark Gong & Shushu/Tong: Showcasing avant-garde and contemporary aesthetics.
  • Ep Yaying, Susan Fang, and Shuting Qiu: Highlighting the breadth of craftsmanship in the China-based fashion scene.

Heart’s foray into Shanghai follows her record-breaking appearances at Paris and Milan Fashion Weeks earlier this year. According to marketing analytics platforms, she remains the only Filipina fashion personality to rank in the Top 5 for:

  • Earned Media Value (EMV): Generating approximately $8.6 million during Milan Fashion Week.
  • Media Impact Value (MIV): Maintaining an average engagement rate of 2.5 percent.

Amidst the glamour of Shanghai, it was revealed that Evangelista has been quietly providing financial support to actor-comedian Ate Gay for his ongoing cancer treatment. Ate Gay shared that the fashion icon even offered to fly him to Singapore for specialized care, a gesture that highlights her reputation for philanthropy within the Filipino entertainment industry.
