A 63-year-old employee of the House of Representatives was shot and killed by unidentified assailants during his daughter’s birthday party in Commonwealth, Quezon City on Sunday.
According to the Quezon City Police District (QCPD), the attack occurred around 2:55 p.m. when two men entered the venue and shot the victim at close range. The suspects then fled the scene on a motorcycle, firing at a subdivision security guard as they escaped.
The victim was rushed to FEU-NRMF Hospital but was later declared dead.
