Several political blocs in the House of Representatives have issued a warning over the recent allegations made by former Ako Bicol party‑list Rep. Zaldy Co, urging both the public and media to treat his statements with caution.

According to House leaders, Co’s claims are unsworn and have not been formally submitted under oath, raising questions about their legal weight.

Some lawmakers described Co’s latest revelations — including accusations involving high‑level budget insertions — as sounding like a “movie plot” rather than a substantiated exposé.

House party chiefs are calling for transparency and accountability, stressing that any claim of this magnitude must be backed by credible evidence.

At the same time, they appealed to Co to return to the country and present his allegations through proper legal channels, rather than relying on public statements.

In essence, the House groups are pushing for a balanced approach: investigate the claims, but don’t take them at face value — especially when formal legal processes haven’t been followed.
