MANILA, Philippines — The “Queen of All Media” Kris Aquino is eyeing a digital comeback, expressing her desire to launch a video podcast as she continues her journey toward remission from multiple autoimmune diseases.

In an Instagram post on Monday, January 26, 2026, Aquino shared her longing for her former talk show days and asked her followers for their support for a potential new project.

A Birthday Gift to Fans Reflecting on the 93rd birth anniversary of her mother, the late former president Corazon “Cory” Aquino (January 25), Kris revealed her plans to re-engage with her audience while maintaining strictly observed safety protocols.

  • Podcast & Home Tour: “I MISS DOING INTERVIEWS! Will you watch & subscribe?” she asked, proposing a “taped-as-live” video podcast and a partial home tour as a “birthday gift” to her supporters.
  • Privacy Shift: Taking a cue from her mother’s private battle with cancer, Kris vowed to stop giving detailed medical updates and instead focus on sharing random snippets of her life and her progress.

Recent Medical Hurdles The announcement comes shortly after Aquino underwent a minor operation that had previously been delayed due to “sky-high blood pressure.”

  • Recovery Status: She shared that she is currently healing from a wound sustained during the procedure. Once fully recovered, she is cleared to move into a “semi-permanent residence” in addition to her home in Tarlac.
  • A New Motto: She requested fans to change their hashtag from #fighting to #brave, emphasizing her continued faith and belief that she will reach remission despite being diagnosed with 11 autoimmune diseases.

Support from Peers Aquino also took the time to thank those who have visited her or shown support during her hospital stay, including actor-turned-Senator Robin Padilla, actress Erich Gonzales, and celebrity makeup artist RB Chanco.

Showbiz Legacy Before her health forced a hiatus, Kris Aquino was a titan of Philippine television, known for her sharp, straightforward interviewing style and quick wit on shows like Today with Kris Aquino, The Buzz, and Kris TV. Her potential move into the podcasting space marks a significant shift in how the veteran host plans to navigate her career in the digital age while managing her chronic conditions.
